Moayed Abu Ammouna
Moayed is a Palestinian refugee, born, lives and works in Gaza City, Palestine, and holds a Bachelor's degree in media (radio and television) from Al-Aqsa University, Palestine.
He works as a visual artist, screenwriter, filmmaker and visual storyteller, ranging from experimental visual production to video art and fiction.
He worked on the production of many artistic projects, most notably "Struggle", "Broadcast", "Between Gaza and My Eyes", and also worked on the production of a short documentary series entitled "Ta`arikh".
Through his work, Moayed usually explores the concepts of land and man, uprooting, refugees and identity, and also focuses in his work on the collective memory of the population, and the concepts of human rights.
He tries to cross and raise the issues he went through in his life, and how a person can find the natural form of life and acquire his full rights, as Moayed believes that art is not a profession, but for him it is a way of life.
He has exhibited and participated in many prominent art exhibitions and film festivals locally and around the world.
